Ah yeah, didn't see his until after I did mine. I also removed the cars from the street as they were annoying me.

Isnt this a CAR SITE?

The dog is the best one. Dont focus on the best one.
(I wouldent change anything. The way you took the shot, its already a sepia toned dog and window frame) If you are trying to hone your photography, you should focus on the quality of the original image itself. (And its commendable to put it out there to receive critisizm) The chopping can be done later. You kind of know when you see the original image right after download, if its got that impact. And there are some times where you look at it and say "Ughh, if only that part was a little different." Then you bring in the PS... But its never as satisfying as pulling down the pictures and saying "thats the one." I think they look great, despite the background comments. Keep shooting. Every memory card, they get better. ![]() |

^This is great advice. I myself do very little to no photoshop. I feel its cheeting the image and myself. with that in mind i keep looking for ways to improve my angle, settings, distance, lighting, etc. Like Forest said "focus on the ones that need work and wait for your chance to get it right the next time. There is nothing like showing off a pic and knowing that you got everything right. keep it up. |

10 quick minutes with Paint Shop Pro cleaned up Allan's photo to highlight just the car. We're not going to hang this one one a gallery anytime soon, but it makes for a more pleasing picture that reresents only the car. Quickly cleaned up and lightly color corrected. ![]()
