Default Version 2 bumper cover

What hardware is included with this bumper?
Are the mounting holes pre-drilled?
Do you have any close-up photos from different angles of the bumper un-installed?
Will the OEM fog lights remain in the stock position?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, included with the bumper is our diamond cut mesh already installed in the bottom center portion of the bumper along with some misc screws, nuts, and bolts (you will use most of your factory hardware for the install). The mounting holes aren't pre-drilled because many older vehicles have been in prior accidents or slightly tweaked in some way, so if the holes were pre-drilled to OEM specs the kits would never fit their vehicles. It also ensures that you get a nice custom fit on your car as well. The only photos that we currently have of the bumper are what we have on our website. You can install the stock foglights onto the bumper but they wouldn't be in the stock location since the bumper isn't stock also you would have to fabricate brackets in order to hold the foglights and housings in place. Just let me know if you have any other questions.

little accident.

they don't come pre drilled, so maybe thats why fitment was crapy.

The bumpers come from our factory with the mesh already installed, but if you call me to place the order and ask me to remove it, I will. Unfortunately the price won't be any less expensive than what I can offer you with your forum discount if you were to order it with or without mesh.

I have checked into this bumper's sales history and this is what I have found: -we have personally sold this bumper 62 times in the past 2 years
-out of over 150 sales in almost 4 years we have had only 4 complaints total
-out of the 4 complaints the bumper was only returned twice because the customers were unhappy with the product because it didn't bolt right up to their cars.

When I personally look for parts, like body kits, for my personal vehicles I prefer not to have any holes pre-drilled because if someone from the factory drills the holes wrong then the bumper is unusable from the start and then you have to go through an exchange or return process with the company's customer service (which isn't always a pleasant experience). When I have a bumper that needs to have the holes drilled I am able to test fit the part and line it up to where it needs to be before I drill it so I know how the part is going to sit on the car before it is installed. In short, as long as you, or whoever is installing the bumper, actually knows what they are doing, it should turn out very nice and look good. That bumper made by one of our competitors may not fit well but ours seems to fit good.

Also, if you test fit the bumper and it looks way off, you have 30 days from upon receipt to contact our customer service, take some pictures of the issue, and get either credit towards fixing it or get a replacement. Just let me know if anyone has any other questions or would like to place an order.

I got an Extreme Dimensions version 2 bumper...... (I can take a pic of their stamp/mark to prove it)

Let's just say........the fitment........... was 110% CRAPPY.
Not trying to dock it on purpose, but man.... what a piece of junk it was.....
Notice I say "was". I had the bodyshop guys do some EXTENSIVE (and I mean EXTENSIVE) work to get it to fit properly. The gaps were puke worthy... and the surface of the bumper was wavy. (Run your hand flat across the front portion, and you really feel how bad the valleys and mountains are).

Why didn't I return it....? I LOVE the way it looks, and ultimately decided that the look of the bumper was worth dumping the money into bodyshop hours.

At least 20 people have PM'd me about my bumper... asking how it is when I got it, who I got it from, how much, the fitment, etc.... and every single time, I've sent them away from the bumper....

I later found out that the bodyshop had a connection with Extreme Dimensions, and that I could've gotten it cheaper had I gone through the bodyshop. They said the Extreme Dimension's bumpers are a 50/50 shot on being a good fitting top quality bumper.

Don't mean to pick on you Extreme Dimensions, I LOVE the way it looks..... but only once it had the hours and hours of bodywork done to it.

To add another $0.02....... I've only seen 3 cars total on 3si with this bumper. Mine, a red one, and a blue one from New York.

i am going to do a review on the version 2 bumper, and why the hell couldnt i find your post superinflamo ?! i purchased this bumper in june 30th 2008 and it showed up on my door step like 1stish 2ndish week of july. i thus hold onto the bumper and send it over to my auto body guy. he then proceeds to tell me what a pile this bumper is. its 3 inches 2 big on both sides, nothing matches up, why the hell did you guys put mesh where the blinkers are going to be ?

i heard the reason for me getting shipped a nice looking bumper that comes no-where near fitting is because when they make bumpers they use a mold and by the time they have made 10 bumpers out of this mold the mold changes shape through the use of making the molds.

so right now im out 395.25 . so if anybody would like to buy a version 2 bumper for cheaper then the competiors please give me a call or pm

I've posted my rants on how crappy the fitment is on a few threads... no thread just specifically talking about the version 2......
at least everyone will know that I'm not talking out of my ass
Curious to see what the Extreme Dimension's Representative has to say about this matter....

One of my body guys asked me "Hey man... is this thing used or what?"
I respond "No....I just got it shipped in..........awww crap..."
I then see the look of "WTF?!" on his face and I proceed to tell him "Don't tell me it fits like a pile of shit............."
His response: "No no.....no like shit...... but piles upon piles of shit"

roflmfao . its like i was talking to the same person you were. im probably going to be stuck with this bumper. i was told it was 3 inchs long on both side and no-where near mountable. he said he would need to cut it in half and take a section out and re-fiberglass it. and then the turn signals and head lights still wouldnt look right.

i was thinking of making a how to fix the version 2 bumper. items needed chain-saw, dremel, duct tape.
