Dan,
I've been looking at your products and have some questions as to what you'd recommend I go with. This is what I'm considering... ISG-10 VC-25D IFS-10 BBK-10 I'm confused as to how the VC-25D will integrate into my setup. I've got all my mods listed below. I'm currently running Speed Density on an eManage Ultimate. Will the controller see the artificial MAF # output by the eManage or the signal input into the eManage? I'm sorta having issues figuring out how the progressive controllers work in the first place. The controller changes flow of meth based on Boost and MAF, right? It seems to me as though that would be more difficult to predict and tune around. The single stage that outputs a set amount seems like it'd be easier to incorporate. I'm sure I'm missing something. I'm planning on running some sort of custom tank in the trunk of my vehicle and placing the pump back there. I have plans for a valve in the lines to keep them pressurized since that's a lot of line to pressurize instantly. See any problems with this idea? Below are my mods. The car put down 387 AWHP and 397AWTQ at 3SX @ 16psi. I'd like to turn the boost up to ~25psi and see how far above 500AWHP I can get. Based on your nozzle selection guide, I see I should select something along the lines of an M12 or 2xM6. Do you recommend a single nozzle over a twin setup? I'm not sure if I'll be running a 50/50 combo or pure meth, but I guess I'd like to go as big as I can in case I need more meth to get to ~25psi. Lastly, are there any things I should keep in mind if I decide to run pure meth? As in, are all your pumps/seals etc. ok with pure meth? Hello Blake,
Yes you can use the VC-25D with the emanage. Since the MAF output is calculated, will be more like Temp is the variable that would change the injection rate. The design of the controller is to inject an amount of meth based on engine load. With boost control, the more boost the more intake cooling need and detonation control. With fast spooling turbos on the Mitsu, the secondary MAF input helps reduce injection rate when under boost but light or medium air flow. Like for example in 4th gear. Tuning is not that difficult compared to an on/off boost switch. With the switch you get full injection amount for your max boost only at lower boost. This can lead to combustion quench from excess fluid and loss of hp in mid range when switch activates. 50/50 is a good safe mix to get the best of both intake cooling and hp gains. With 100% meth you now have a dual fuel system. Based on your mods and hp goals I would suggest starting with the M12 nozzle. Let me know if this help or if you have more questions. Best regards, Dan |

So fluid will always be "trapped" between pump outlet and solenoid and ready for injection activation. Other then that, keeping your foot in the throttle will also maintain constant pressure. Should not be anything special for most 3S owners ![]() |
