Default What oil???

Hi guys....

Was just wandering what oil do you guys use to put in the GTO??

ATM I am using castrol GTX 3, 15w-40....

I will try to aim for a more synthethic thinner oil.....


any advise??

i wouldnt use the gtx3 castrol i hear its pretty cheap quality, i prefer castrol edge 10w60, it stops 99% of my previous lifter tick and gets good oil pressure. I been meaning to try 0w40 i think it is but im worried oil pressure might drop a fair bit compared to the thicker 60. Its $70 a bottle so its a fair cost.

Yep. The Castrol series I'm no fan of at all. While Motul is expensive, ($36 for 2 litres) it's quality oil. Bluemax_1's thread on oils mentions Motul as a very good oil.
