will rip the flywheel + clutch stuff off this evening and take photo's for you

I assume that the pressure plate is a few mm too thick or mounted too close to the flywheel, I really have my hands tied with the NG being in a few weeks, this thing needs to run and be easy to drive for the duration of the event.
