What's it actually doing mikey? Grinding into gear/no gear at all/ creeping forward even with the clutch in?
If u let the box hang unsupported while installing it u may have bent the friction plate causing the clutch to drag

yeah I've heard the hanging the gearbox thing, but I have a lot of trouble believing it, by the time the input is engaging the clutch the dowels are very close to taking the weight (i've found that as soon as the teeth mesh on mine that it slips straight all the way in.

if, with the engine off, I put the car in 1st and attempt to start it even with the clutch fully in the starter drags the car forward.

funny thing is before swapping the master and the slave I could start it without it dragging on the car much, so it was close .

I'll adjust the pedal and give it one more bleed on all the bleed points but I'm thinking something is up with this pressure plate, not sure if I will go back to a pressure plate I KNOW will work or throw the rps carbon back in :|

Is the pedal soft or hard with the car off. If its hard u won't have any air in the system. If u get air in there the pedal will get really soft at the first half of the travel. U should be able to tell the resistance change as the pressure plate disengages. Try push the pedal by hand. It is much easier to tell where the pressure actually changes. It should go hard before the first 1/4 of travel, then be consistent the rest of the way down. If its soft for 3/4 then goes hard at the last bit, there is air in the system.
How are u bleeding it? U should only undo the nipple on the pipe mounted to the gearbox mount. Then use ur hand to push the clutch fork so the slave goes all the way back in. Hold it, tighten the nipple release pressure on fork then do it again. Also use a clear hose off the nipple so u can see if any bubbles are coming out.

Pedal is hard, I can feel resistance but the resistance does not change as I don't think it's pushing the pressure plate enough (like my other clutch's)

See my video's showing the clutch movement, thankfully bleeding the clutch has been a fairly easy maneuver due to my GF doing the clutch down/clutch up stuff while I loosen/tighten the bleeders

Weeeeeell, got the gearbox out in under 2 hours, that's a new record for me

clutch looks fine from what I can tell...

I swear everything is freaking going wrong, my second Jack is starting to play up :|

going to get some of the USA guys to measure their flywheels etc.

Did u have the flywheel machined? Is the step correct. If it was to tight the clutch won't disengage properly.

Flywheel was machined for the previous clutch, still looks perfect (the last clutch lasted maybe 5,000km so it appears to have near 0 wear) what is the step? surely a clutch for the 3000gt should work in a GTO without undocumented changes?

Mike, are you sure its your clutch? How many clutches are you going to replace mate, I'd find out what the actual issue is first.
