Yeah they called me up today to let me know they are searching for the parts to put on and that "Legally are unable to provide the vehicle back to me until the recall item has been replaced"

but yeah dont go paying that 1k. you can replace the PTU in under 20minutes with minamal to no effort. you only need to remove the intake hose i believe.
piece of piss

Mitsubishi said that have installed the replacement PTU and it has sorted the issue however still waiting on the brake line recall shit, i hope i get the car back before Christmas.
I took a pic of my dash before i left the car there so ill know if they have been fooling around
I assume they are ordering the parts from Japan. Could take a while. I would be telling them I will collect the car and get the brakes done at another dealer. They can't legally stop you from taking your car.

Sent from my GT-I9300 using AutoGuide App
unfortunately they wont release the car due to the safety recall item, its illegal to release a car that has a recall once its in the hands of a dealer
So they wont give it back till the recall item has been completed and tested, which makes sense its just annoying as hell because its not like its a 30 minute drive to get the thing
