the plan is starting at Dreamworld in coomera, at 9:00am. the park opens at 10 so i was thinking that we can get some good photos before it gets busy.
from there travel down through surfers paradise all the way to coolangatta along the beach. turn around and come up the main highway to nerang, and then go out west to tambourine mountain where we will stop for lunch at the bearded dragon.(point H)
Mt Tamborine Accommodation | Gold Coast Hinterland Accommodation, travel time to this point is approx 3 hrs so hope to arrive at 1pm
from there keep heading west to beaudesert then on to willowbank to be there by 4 for the test and tune at the drags. enjoy a bbq at the raceway, and watch gtos represent.
Home Page
entry is $45 to race and includes spectator entry for a second person in the same car.
just watching is $20.
these are just ideas though i havent made any phone calls/bookings etc. if this is good for most i am happy to keep going further. i was also hoping one of the brissy boys would chime in and give a hand .. Anyone?

Thanks,
I rang the raceway today and they said on average around 5-10 runs each just depends how busy it is at the time. Also it is ok to have the BBQ there just not allowed booze or glass.

I am still thinking August so scotty can come. Even if it just to say hi for a couple of hours would still be great to have you. Plus it's a cooler time of the year.
Would everyone who's voted please give an idea on when they would prefer it to be.

I'm open to the idea of driving to Brisbane and I can stay with my brother. However August seems a little early. Will just mean everyone has to do their tax right away lol that's the only way I can afford these trips. Of course all will depend on work. My current contract expires end of Feb. Hopefully it is renewed.

so Is this set in concrete yet? QLD NG04?
if so I think a new threads is in order and that would mean contact details of who is running the show, itinerary plans etc. :-)
