If its not painted, thats what I'd have done. Chromed or polished with blue rings to match engine bay... I guess a plating shop or machine shop can do that?

it shouldnt be too bad, especially since its a straight solid bar, no curves or crevices to worry about getting in.

I'd start with wetsanding to smooth it out. the finish isn't rough, but its not super super slick, so maybe 800, then 1000, then 1500, then 2000, then 3000 & 4000 if you can find it. then hit it with a compound wheel and some metal compound. a compound wheel for a drill should work fine. i was tempted to polish mine since it should be pretty easy, but i'm going anti-bling with this car lol, so it'll stay brushed, and the rings probably gunmetal

Supermac, how long are you offering this deal? The price is awesome and the part quality looks excellent, I just don't have the money right now.

hey guys glad you are enjoying the strut bars. we are thinking that since people are liking them so much we will be adding them to our list of parts full time.

and also yes the bars can easily be painted blue if you want. polishing is a bitch unless youve done it before and know what your doing. thats why we dont offer it anymore. it used to take us around 4 hours per bar to polish them and it just wasnt worth it.

and i got your payment jacob. the bar will be sent out as soon as the payment clears paypal.

thanks,
chris

ya the bar works great in the front, but there's a bit of rear end "floating" so it convinced me to get the rear one too lol

they should work with any hood. as long as nothing major is stickign down into the hood reducing clearance where the strut bars runs accross.

thanks,
chris
