wow this looks great man! is that the shortest you can make the runners? what kind of provisions have you make for brakes booster/other nissple on the plenum. can we order the exact amount of provosions we need on the back of the plenum? for 500 bucks this is an amazing deal. it should do well against cracking too because there are no real "corners" on this plenum. i think i will be in for a drivers side throttle body after my questions are answered.
thanks! ![]()

thats about as short as we can make them with this style of plenum. we've reduced runner length over stock by quite a bit. and this way any N/A cars wont lose their low end torque. short runners really only help out on the turbo cars anyway.
the plenum will come with 4 nipples on the back for vaccum lines and such. we dont have any on this plenum yet but yes they will be there. as well as a hook up for the throttle cable. thanks, chris |

ok i think my last question is... on the stock plenum i am sure you know the 2 long rearward bolts that hold the rear part of the plenum down. i am assuming we will need to get shorter bolts and the use a wrench to tighten or can we get a socket in between the runners. i cant wait to see the inside of this thing once it is welded if it is smooth at this good price i think these things will sell.

Ok guys. I've got some sorta bad news... maybe.
We had some issues with our welder today, and aparently they are having a hard time welding our manifold. they are complaining about the amount of time it takes to weld aluminum and that they would require in the range of $400 each manifold just for the time involved. and as you all know... thats a lot. thats putting the manifold in the range of $600 (materials included) just for us to build... and well thats more than we intended to sell them for in the first place. So... whats happening now is that we are going to tweak the plenums a bit to try and make them easier to weld, and we are also looking into using steel instead of aluminum. the welder says that steel would be considerably easier to use and work with. and the only down side would be that it would weigh around 1-2 lbs more. not a big deal to me, but i wanted to know what you all thought before we go ahead and switch metals. thanks, chris |

<><>Ill pay for what ever it is to complete mine in all aluminum.<><>
As per what I know aluminum is cooler than steel especialy affective in the section where the air is going into the engine...Cooler air more HP... Being one pound or two heavier does not matter... If $600 is the final figure I think that is not bad at all, camparing to the 2K range compared to what other vendors sell thairs for...

Different people will prefer the cheaper steel or paying whatever for the best product. Could both be options?
