Can't help but notice that you used round tubing... Clearly, the inlets of the lower intake manifold are not round. How are you smoothing this transition?

sorry i havent tested the tec strut bar. i dont have any experience with it at all really. although by looking at pics i doubt it would clear any better than our strut bar. there is very limited space under the hood and our bars are cutting it pretty close as it is

So if you dremel the lower plenum, does that mean we are going to have to dremel out lower plenum to fit right? Or do we need to send our lower plenum in to you guys to have it done right?

I used round pipe and just reshaped the lower plenum. With a good carbide bit (get this at a tool supply store) and lubrication (keep the bit lubed and stuff wont get stuck in it and it will eat the aluminum like crazy) you can do it in 5 minutes if you do a good job marking off where you need to cut.
I do think its cool to use all new upper plenum pipe. Then you can determine the diameter of the upper runners and maybe taper down @ the lower for velocity blah blah blah ![]() I still think everyone goes too small on the surge tank and a bit to long on the runners. I guess the corner of the valve cover gets in the way so some configuratios fit better then others.

no you wont have to dremel your lower plnum unless you really want to. what i ment by us dremeling out the plenum is that we try to match up the ports on the plenum to the lower intake. once everything is installed you wont really have a need for dremeling anything though. the fit is pretty nice and you wont get any block air paths from the plenum.
