That is exactly what was referring to be made with no issues of modifying the hood...

that surge tank looks really small though....

i'd say it still looks fairly big. the oem surge tank is roughly that rectangle cut in half lengthwise.

and its made right on top of the stock lower intake to make it one whole assembly

ok guys sorry this is taking me so long. here is a mock up fitting. hood doesnt close. at this time no passenger side tb plenum will be made as the radiator fill pipe is right there.

also these pics are just for showing the layout. the plenum isnt finished and hasnt been welded yet.

yeah actually i remember that plenum. i saw it in person a few years back at a national gathering. (they were running my strut bars on the track cars)

while ares wont be like that one per say, it will be sorta similar. that plenum if i remember right, required a hole in the hood for clearance.
