I know that this is not a unit that Im interested in but I got an idea to make it close the hood... Why not make the surge tank sort of like an oval flattish shap and flange off the TB out a little bit more past the cam covers, this way all will fit.. Just an idea, hope it helps

cause in order for it to cover the fuel rails and still sit low enough to fit under a stock hood. it would be about an inch tall and need to be nearly 8 inches wide to get the volume. then the flow would be all messed up and would require a crazy adapter for the TB.
simple fact of the matter is... you want a drivers side TB plenum that sits on top of the lower runners... you must modify the hood. even teh zesty plenum everyone is talking about needs a modified hood. look at the pics... it shows a cowl scoop and all the under bracing for the hood is removed. if people dont want this. then im not gunna wast money welding it up. ill stick with a traditional plenum that allows access to the plugs.

I dont understand the need for a drivers side plenum but that's just me. I just want a intake that wont lose power, access to rear plugs, and fits under stock hood. But that's just me. Keep up the good work. I know LT1 owners would kill to have someone fab them some intakes for a good price seeing as they have no options at all.

Nevermind. Found the answer on the first page. Would it be possible to have a throttle body on both sides and have a turbo feed into each or would the air hitting each other from each side cause a issue? Would also take some crazy fab work for the throttle cable to control both throttle bodies. would be neat to see a no wire setup like the new corvettes and new ls2 setups.
