Will the output shaft of the unit be different from the stock ones? Or in other words: If I get the SCE center diff can I throw away my aftermarket output shaft or do I keep it as a spare?

So if I'm having my transaxle rebuilt, it would probably be cheaper & easier for me to convert now it to a 25 spline and then sell my 18 spline 300m shaft & working VCU, so that I can install your center differential at a later time?

That would be the ideal way to do it since the new 18-spline center diffs will be more expensive and less common.

for sure a stupid question but I have to:
does the VCU replacement, along with the F+R differentials and output shaft, etc... will improve also the TC functioning? I ask cause i've read many statements of 3s owners which have experienced a tc failure (locked up) while speeding. I know it's a noob question, but please explain for me a little. thanks.
