Default Info on the APR-Splitter?

I'm "interested" in one...but without any info on how to install it, I'm just a bit weary of shelling out that much cash without knowing how hard it will be. Can we get a link or a write-up on installing it? I'm particularly interested in my '92 Stealth R/T...but obviously we need info for all the models.

The splitter description has been updated to reflect a bit better info on installation. Basically, the splitter is bolt-on for certain model years of 2g. If you want to bolt it onto a newer style 2g, you can request it without the bumper holes drilled (subframe holes only) and you can custom match the mounting holes to your current bumper.

It will work with just about any bumper as long as you can bolt or bracket it to it some way. it helps out tremendously if the bottom of the bumper is flat.

It'll work with it, but you may have to hack it up a bit and it wouldn't be quite the "bolt on". I'm not sure why the 91-93 stealth is different than the 3000GT, but SCE has pics of it installed on a 1st gen 3000GT.

The '91-93 Stealth has a very high bumper. If you bolt the splitter to the subframe, there will be a gap between the bumper and the splitter. You could pull the splitter up to the bumper, but then it will be pointing up. This is not pretty, and will not improve your aerodynamics. It will help the engine cooling though, but in this case not any better than the stock undertray.

Does this high bumper problem include the R/T models as well? I looked, the subframe doesn't look like it very far below my bumper...
