Default Hey Phil, you haven't been holding out on us have you?

Noticed the Ohlins stickers on your car in the NG08 pics. Are you now running an Ohlins setup? If so, which one? Did you get them to design a custom setup or is it possibly the Carrozeria PCV kit?

LOL, Max! I was going to post about suspensions soon. I have too many products coming out at once. Dog box, center diff, suspension kits, and I will also have OBX front diffs in two weeks for just $750 group buy.

The suspension is Ohlins FLAG double-adjustable (compression and rebound, 26 clicks each). I also figured a way to bolt on pretty much anything on our cars: Ohlins, Moton, JRZ, KW, Bilstein, Cusco, Buddy Club, Greddy, HKS, whatever. Once I have the definite release date, which I will know in a week or two, I will post the details.

Philip

Actually, that's who I'm talking to right now to see if they can make the v3's with 600fr/500r spring rates (instead of their 400/330). Still waiting for a reply from them. I like the idea that their low speed compression is adjustable separately and so is rebound but they adjust the high speed rebound at the factory to match the kit (since high speed is compression is mostly for bump absorption).

Max, why wouldn't you just buy a set and buy your 600fr/500rr springs? Do you worry that the kit won't have enough damping for these slightly heavier springs?

That's it exactly. The KW v3 has independent adjustability for low speed compression and near full range rebound but the high speed compression is not user adjustable and is factory set. That could mean that they would be underdamped with the 50% stiffer springs.
