I will.....eventually I still have my trany apart. I can take some rough dimension everything......(Shiftforks, gears, shiftrails,& etc.) I had AutoCad, but just the student version...it expired after 180days. I was thinking about designing "Straight-cut gears" or both "Helical dogbox". I was going to try "EmachineShop.com", to see they can make something (trany & suspension parts). I've have alot of time on my hands, but no funds yet . I can't just let my Stealth just sit there...... you know?

i wouldn't try straight cut gears, cause your going to get the same annoying whine you get when you drive in reverse. because the reverse gear is straight cut. Please correct me if im wrong ppl..

Yep, you're wrong. Ever notice how the 3/S DOESN'T whine in reverse? It's because the 3/S was one of the few cars back then produced with a helical reverse (there are more examples these days).

Straight cut gears will whine though, which is why SCE's design only makes the 1st gear a full straight cut gear for the extra strength for launching. 2nd is semi-straight, i.e. a helical gear with a shallower angle between stock and straight.

Yeah, I was watching "Puma GTO" racing in a video, and I could hear a "faint" whining sound. Everytime he'll shift the "whining sound" gets louder and louder, but not ridiculious loud! LISTEN CLOSELY!!

See/hear for yourself:
