"MR gears" really have nothing to do with the dogbox (its just different front diff ring and pinion gears). You can use them as you wish, and you can use which ever driveshaft you wish

The exact ratios are:

The 1st gear ratio is 2.93 (44/15) (was 3.27)

The 2nd is between the new 1st and the 3rd (1.24) and is at 1.78 (41/23) (was 1.90).

Those are good ratios for drags and wont hurt the road course guys (except low speed autocross maybe).
