I'd probably look for something closer to the 5-speed 1st gear for dragracing.

What are you revving out to?

Around 7700 or so in 1st, although I should probably shift a bit sooner than that. Its a bit tough to gauge because the tach seems to lag a bit behind the actual revs in 1st.

Quickest pass:

1-2: 7668
2-3: 7555
3-4: 7234

I was through the traps in 4th at 6422 rpm, around 118 mph. 6-speed JDM gearing.

Frank has supplied the best customer service out of any suplier I have bought a part from for my GTO!

In fact he has shipped replacement parts quicker than it took other comapnies to ship fully paid up orders of simple but expensive parts.

But my car has moved beyond the limits of quite a few stock and aftermarket parts now so I need something a bit more race/power capable.

Mr Supercar, I hope your box will deliver what I want!

Mark

Hey Mark , I don't take offence at all . We do like to know about such failures and we'll do the best we can to get it done right . You may indeed be in line for a stronger shaft , I would suggest stiffer rear suspension. Shoot me an eMail and I'll make you a deal on a new shaft .

Mark, I kept emailing you but it was bouncing every time. Perhaps there was a typo in the email address. You will have the shaft any day now, I just checked the status. Please email me at philip_at_supercar-engineering.com and I will send you the tracking number. Also, log into your account on my site. I refunded you some money!

Philip
