Mitsubishi Solid Mounts

I just ordered the solid mounts the other day and would like to know if anyone has any tips or tricks with installation so that when I get them in I wont have to tie up any loose ends further down the road.

Default Re: Solid Mounts

Install is pretty straight forward as it's just a remove the old one put the solids in type thing. On a TT it can be difficult to get the rear stock mount out as the turbo is in the way. A lot of people have to loosen the turbo up to get it out...the solid one being smaller will slide right in though.

Don't tighten anything down until you get all the mounts in either. With them being solid there is less give when installing them and it will make it harder to get everything to line up. A jack underneath the bellhousing can help move the engine around and get it to line up with everything.

Once everything is in and all the bolts are in place loosely tighten everything down and you're good to go.
