Hey Terry, I've got a thread going on the Tires/Wheels section about powder coating calipers. Perhaps you could shed some light on some of the questions:

1) Can you do a chrome/almost chrome on calipers? Also, do you have a picture of what that color looks like? If not, is it shiny at all? Or is it a deep silver/gray like the "crinkle black" that you have on your site.

2) What do I need to remove from the caliper before sending it to you (if anything)? What do you "rebuild"? I wasn't able to discern that from this thread or any of the other members who have sent their calipers to you.

3) What would your expected turn-around time be on this (from when you receive them)? I noticed you said you don't have any cores, so I was just trying to plan for how long the car would be down.

4) Finally, do you offer some sort of combined deal, if I wanted to get multiple things done (the calipers, upper plenum, valve cover)?

Thanks, in advance, for the reply.

Terry, let me make it worth your while- I have the same two questions. I'm not worried about cores, as I'll send you my calipers and I'd like the same ones back anyway. I have the OEM rebuild kits for front/back; I was planning to do that myself, but what do you normally do? And if I send you the OEM kits does that save me anything?

Terry, my strut-bar ends arrived today and they look great. A perfect match to the plenum and front valvecover you did previously. The annodized red looks incredible against the chrome bar. When I install them mid april I'll post a pic.

Sorry guys...first time I've been on here since a few days ago.

Anyways....

1. I can do calipers in whatever color you want. The almost chrome is more of a shiny metallic color than anything and its' impossible to pick up in pics. Here's the best I have of it: http://www.maximalperformance.com/po...y/IMG_0424.jpg

2. I can disassemble then and lately I've got away from rebuilding (need to change it on the site) and just putting them back together as long as the seals look good. If they need replacing I can do that though.

3. About a week. I usually get caught up on most of this stuff on the weekends so it might just be a few days if you can time them to get here on a Friday.

4. Yep, if you get multiple things done it'll be a bit cheaper. E-mail or PM me for an exact quote.

Terry, I just wanted to check and make sure you got the valve cover core I sent? It was the stealth core in exchange for the anodized blue 3000.

Thanks again,
John

Got it and finished it. You should be getting it mid week as I'll be shipping it tomorrow.
