A reason you don't like that...just the looks?

Nope, there isn't. I mean it's louder when you get on it but under normal driving conditions it's really not noticeable.

I believe they're around 17-18".

there is some cabin noise with mine, im not sure how much with other peoples. I've had to fix a few rattles....and now i have another one. It's hitting my gas tank, and there's nothing i can really move to get it out of the way. The way it's sitting in there right now, it has about 1/8 or 1/4 inch of clearance on the side of my gas tank, and then the side of the bumper where it comes out. It knocks against it when im driving, mainly just shifting or starting in 1st/reverse. Im hoping to get it completely fixed so no more rattle :P Amazing exhaust tho, i love it. I get even more looks now, and sounds amazing when i get 3k rpm xD

I have this exhaust with the testpipe and the exhaust does go really close to the gas tank. To fix it from hitting i put some heat shield tape on the tank and some exhaust thermo wrap around that section of the exhaust. I also had to take off the rear hookup for flatbed trucks. Once I get back to the house ill try to get a video so you know what it sounds like. The resonator is 24" if I remember correctly and when I called Maximal Performance they said if you put it in backwards (so the raised holes face the back) it helps flow and makes it a little louder. That's how I have mine so you will be able to tell as soon as I can get the video on.

just orderd mine yesterday...hopefully I get it shortly would like to install it next week or so...Im hoping it will be loud enough with just the single shot, and a high flow cat, with my air intake. I am getting it installed by some guys at meinkiee so should I tell them to reverse the resonator?

Sorry it took so long for me to get the videos on here. The first one is me revving up to maybe 4500 to 5000 rpm. The second one is going thru a couple gears with the windows up because someone asked about cabin noise. As you can see when cruising the cabin noise is pretty minimal, when you jump on it the exhaust perks up some tho. I have the 2.5 inch test pipe and single shot with the resonator in backwards on my 1997 SOHC. Overall it is a great exhaust expecially for the price. The only thing is that it will most likely make your check engine light go on but that is nothing important, just the pesky emissions. I hope this helped. (O yea, I know my shifting isn't the best right then, but it is hard to hold and make sure the camera is getting a good view while trying to drive)
