Good luck with your car and be sure that all is correct before leaving the shop becuse it will be like pulling teeth to get anything does happen.

Instead of going with a stroker I would give my opinion to only build the bottom end to be able to take more boost and turn up the boost.

Yeah, I think Matt M. has proven that a larger displacment engine does nothing in making the car make any more power / or run any faster

This stroker is a 3.4 with stock bore right? Overbore would yeild 3.5x litres?

sooo......rock105 is going to troll every thread forever and give sage advice. sounds great! Sorry, i'd rather keep my engine intact, run lower boost for the same power than beat the piss out of it and blow an engine...but what would I knwo...I haven't trashed 2 engines....

Anybody know where the Gutenaytor valve is located? I think mine's bad.

I am really glad for you that everything worked out for you. Great you think what you do. I believe in what I think. I am convinced and will know for sure soon if the bottom end was set up properly. It is a fact that when pushing a engine harder that week areas will show up sooner, but think about it how in the hell would a set of mains go out in 500 miles? Mains are usually the last thing to go out on a engine proper set up is critical. I have a Buick Grand National that made 725 at the wheels at only 25 psi. Has ran 9.90's thus far at 27 psi and it is a full weight car on m/t drag radials. I have done it just as the 3000gt. The only difference is that in the grand national all I have had to do is changed the oil, tranny fluid and check the tire pressure. One thing to point out here is that the grand nationals engine is only a 3.8.

That's fine..... if you feel your issues give you the right to troll in every thread, so be it. But the more you do, the bigger the asshole you look like. I gave props to Silvert777 on his response.

It works the same way the VQ strokers by BC work.
