Heads are done at last, I will be paying for them tomorrow and then they should be shipped out to IPS thursday. Its time to start getting my black beast done.
Do you all already have all the parts I need it instock? also I will be calling tomorrow to talk to mike so I can get a up to date price quote so I can start knocking down the bill.

IPS received your car on 2-5-08 according to Jeff's post on that date.

I'm just asking: almost 5 months later and the car isn't done yet. Did they not have all parts ordered or is some of this delay on your part, HumanVR4?

We just got his heads a few weeks ago (I think Brandon posted in this thread when they arrived) so that enabled us to build his complete long-block and get it ready to drop back in. Due to bad timing of the heads getting here while we were in the middle of finishing up a pair of TT Z06s (The second of which should be leaving tomorrow) we have not been able to devote more time to it than that. However, monday we will be on it full-go and then it will be only a matter of days until it us up and running. The longest delay from here on out will be us getting the necessary break-in miles on everything so it can get tuned.

100% my fault, I did not know what I was going to do about the Head lifting issue some 3S get with EVO3. I thought it would be a simple fix. I was going to go with O-ringing the heads, and A-1 heads studs but the heads studs are on a 3 month back order at the time.
So I went with Rays head lift fix, but at the same time Ray started a group buy for the head lift fix, and when my heads showed up they thought I was part of the group buy, so when I called them about a month later to find out what was going on, they told me they they are still waiting on the rest of the group buy. I figured i might as well wait to save 150-200 bucks since i have already giving them a month. but the group buy kinda fell apart, in the end only 2 or 3 people did it.

But IPS was real understanding about everything and keep my car all safe for me. While I was searching everything about the head lifting issue to find out what I was going to do.

That was me. I don't like "Posting" updates Vs calling so I wanted to let you know what was going on and our current ETA's and so forth. I will call you later today and go over everything with you
