Do the only vertical lift ones open as high as the VLS ones do? and any news on when the VLS will be back in stock? I've got some money burning a hole in my pocket...

Hey, Couple questions.
1) any ETA of when they may be back in stock? (I might have enough $$$ in a little over a month 2) they fact that they go both way, I understand the concept but can they be locked in either position? or is it like both at once kind of deal?
