Im planning on purchasing the carbon fiber hood from you guys but I just wanted to know whats the difference btwn your carbon fiber hood and the VIS carbon fiber hood? it looks like a 100 dollar difference. and also i need the hood hinges do you guys have that?

The VIS is made in china and shipped over, we make all ours here...detials about materials are on the hood page, check it out

You use your stock hinges Install is just 4 bolts.

so why is the VIS more expensive? which one would you recommend? and would you also recommend that i get a heat shield? and for the hinges mine are bent from the hood flying up so i was wondering if you guys sell that part also.

lol how can you ask him who he'd recommend, its their hood. But Deft makes pretty much the best carbon hoods for our cars

Well, you're already paying for shipping from china, and they are a 3rd party ... you get Deft hoods direct at wholesale.

No need for a heat sheild. This hood radiates the heat, not deflects it

Sorry, we dont have the hinges, but I'd reccoemnd a junk yard for that. Shouldnt be too bad.

be sure to post pics! You should take a pic of underneath the hood too. I'd like to know if they look like stock or not.

The underside of the OEM style hood is just molded off the stock one, so yeah, thats what it looks like.
