Got my boost guage installed and had a question regarding the peak warning function. Do you have to set that limit everytime you start the car or does it retain the setting until you change it?

Am I missing a key combination or something? Mine doesnt seem to do it. I hold the button down for approx 5 sec. then release and it goes to about 20 psi. Then I hold it down again and it starts moving, when it gets to 13 I release it and wait for it to go back into default mode. Works fine till I turn the car off then I have to reset it again the next time.

Do you have the red wire hooked up to constant 12 volt/battery (connector C59, white wire) or to an ACC switched 12 volt?
Sounds like the gauge isn't getting any battery when the car is off, which it's supposed to to keep it's memory settings.
