gt3788r's sound nice to me along with nelsons drag wheels and slicks (wonder where he bought those ?) aem ems with antilag program some beeger cams and a certain new clutch and life would be nice
What size are Nelson's wheels? I really want a 15x10 and to tuck under the wheel wells as far as possible. I have got to get more tire under this car.

I think supras are still running 8.5X or something like that on stock tranny 6 spd as their fastest cars.
Already pretty damn close to beating that!
Now some of those are FULL weight, but still...
i'm thinking having more weight helps them to put down the power better down the track. if their car was 3000 or 2800lbs, it would be really hard to get traction.
hey Matt have you heard about a Precision billet turbos? they came up with a billet blades for turbos. the spool time on thse were a lot better and it made more HP. it was like gt35 spool on gt40 turbos with even more hp that non billet gt40 turbos.

I don't have every bit of knowledge on your drivetrain setup Matt but what about your center diff? Did you get one of Philip's LSD Center diffs? Not entirely sure what you got in that trans? Also not entirely sure what power that LSD can hold.
Congrats though on keeping the car on the track with all that power and spinning the tires as much as it sounds like you were doing. We want all want to see you go faster but we also want you to do it as safe as you can however that may be when going almost 170 MPH. Oh and the chutes sounds like a good idea and I like what Philip said about the splitter and the Spoiler.
Maybe even just a little duckbill lip on the trunk lid might be enough to keep a little more traction on that back end?

Phillip did mention that he would like to have someone who's making lots of power for drag racing use his new Center Diff to give some reviews on how well it worked... Might be able to cut you a deal on it Matt. And the documentation on it says that it will hold 16,000ft-lbs of torque. We're still dealing with torque multiplication in this case, but I still don't see ANYONE breaking it.
And some kind of splitter and a small spoiler probably isn't a bad idea. Guess we'll just have to see what next year is like with some better tires on.
And as for your bigger turbos Matt... I've been keeping tabs on a thread here about a unit that goes between your turbo header and the turbo and can reduce how much lag you have. I'll post the thread link here.
Matt doesn't run a single, nor divided housings, unless I'm out of the loop...
Well at the bottom of page 7 Shiver-91VR4 says that he has a way of doing something similar (he actually says better) to that, and that doesn't need divided housings or any modification to the O2 housings or headers.
Nelson has Bogart wheels.
Not sure if they are 15 or 16" though.
750hp is not a friendly area for choosing a turbo. Nelson was maxing out this gt4088's
I think twin gt4294 with smallest turbine housing
I wouldnt go gt4094 because its basically a cut down 4294 to fit old NHRA SFWD rules that dont exist anymore.
gt40's dont like much boost above 30, they just have crappy maps, 67mm's wont share compressor maps and I dont think they can push 40 pounds either.
Nelson had the 4088's that can push more boost but he was maxing them out. Adding extra heat/stress but not much power.
Not sure about PT turbos. I have a PT housing but everything else is garret. pt71's seemed to fail all the time, probably because they still used the small shaft on that big size.
I think 67mm is the limit on the small shaft, and some have said its too much. Hope mine never fails.

nelson wasnt maxxing out his 4088s, his intercooler was to small. His car should have put down 135-160 more hp down. His wheels were custom made by us and bogart. They are 16". gt3788rs are not as laggy, in a smaller housing than the 40s and make the hp that matt wants on his car. Its easy enough to machine out his 4088's to make them 4094s as well.
