If his system was pumping that much heat then there will be a pressure drop...only because the air will get cooler (like its supposed to) and denser (lower pressure) = a good thing
The problem with pressure drop is that your turbo is creating more pressure then the engine is seeing. This means the engine wont be making the power that the turbos might lead you to believe and they will reach their limits before they should.
If it flows well enough, then extra pressure shouldn't build up on the hot side.

Them IC piping diameters be real small though

I wouldn't let someone run 2.25" on a single turbo setup at 500hp. Not even 350hp :P Matt is way beyond that.

Matt, if you keep upgrading all the parts in the system, I think you will worry less about upping the boost. More expensive but maybe your heads will keep behaving

Messing with some math, i guess the 3" single lines are worse then the dual 2.25"

I hope 3sx does start racing again, with all the work thy are doing with E85 over there I'v been Expecting T4 to be converted over to it and be running again.
That's a huge IC. Very nice! And you are right, don't know about 166+ but at 159mph on 4 slicks the top end of the track is "fun". Good luck in your quest for 8.4. Looks like you are getting the power to do it!

As for T4 we don't have any plans at this point. She still runs. Wasn't serviced since last season and she is sitting in the showroom collecting dust. Beyond not having the time now that I run the service shop, 2nd gear grinds due to bad dog teeth and started locking out, and we don't have one to replace it. No one does. So I start it every few weeks in the showroom, but that's about as far as she is going for a while. At least the smell of C16 fills the front of the shop for a little while. Sucks now that we have a track less than 10 miles from the shop.

I may take my daily driver to see what she'll do. but I won't "launch" it since it's my DD I need to drive to work and back. Don't want to break the stock 5 spd TC or the stock 5spd that does not have a plate welded in it. be lucky to pull an 11.xx LOL

Today was the first day it was open. It's the Inaugural Charlotte Powerade NHRA event. I was there from open to close and will be again friday, saturday, and sunday. They have not posted Test and tune dates yet. So no idea when I can take my car. It's the sweetest track period.

Ya I know y IC piping realy is too small, I may take on a winter project to go to 2.5" into a 3.5" this FMIC could easly be re-flanged for 3.5" in and out.

I am trying trying to make all the power I can with out having to run more then the 35psi of boost I am running now. I think this new FMIC is going to help allot. I have not had any coolent push yet, and dont want to push the boost to the point were I will.

edit: Especially if Chris build T4 with a high-compression E85 motor. lol
it opened Yesterday for NHRA Races its has 4 lanes and can seat 35,000 for the time being!
