Default Re: info on 16T turbos?

Any modification needed to get these turbos in? Ex oil & coolant lines or trimming to fit?

I know boost is a relative number but, will these turbos hold 22psi to redline with say DR stage 2 heads?

What is their rated cfm?

Are 550 injectors a good size to run with these? I also plan on running methanol injection.

Thanks Jeff

Thy are direct bolt on

Boost #'s depend so much on suporting mods it's hard to say. but with the correct suporting mods ya most likly.

550's are a good choice, I ran 11.9@118mph a few weeks ago with DR16T's on my street 95 stealth with stock injectors.

Were you injecting methanol to do it?

Methanol is in my plans to reach above 18psi.

What RPM does boost begin at, once again relative but good to have an idea?

What is this turbo's cfm rating?

Looking to purchase new setup in the next few months so all info is appreciated. I want to do my build in between semesters (fall and spring) so I can be ready for NG 09.

Thanks Jeff

What turbine wheels come with these H or HL? Or is there an upgrade option because the website doesn't clarify.

sweet man, i hope you get them and the heads. I bought dr-500s almost 4 years ago and i love them; just wish these 16ts were avail then. i think they are the perfect street turbo, can keep stock short block, stock mas, stock cams, etc with quick spool and no worries

Nope no meth.

15psi of boost 91 oct pump gas, full weight car right down to the stock 18" wheels

The turbos will suport about 575 hp

Boost responce depends on so menny things, but I can tell you this these turbos make boost right on par with then DR-500's do but thy will suport more HP with any given suporting mod set-up.
