Hi, I was wondering which A/R you get with this kit? 48 or 63 dose it realy matter?

I want to run them on a full weight car and on pump gas.

Im pretty sure you can choose the a/r you would like.... regaurdless of everything it will come down to what you really want out of your car

personaly for the price of the GT kits vs the DR kits I would just snag a DR kit.. as they are price proven, and everythign (then again your getting the GT kit from him so thy would be good too)

Well, my last DSM had a Gt 3076 with the 48 a/r and it realy rocked, but in this situation ive heard 2 phylosphys on the topic, 1: that the 48 is the way to go for quick responce (kinda what I want) and 2: the ballistics spool so quick that the 63 would be OK on a street car.

having never ran either, I thought id ask.

no shame in it, but do you want a good quick spooling turbo? or a higher RPM band monster??

That really comes down to what you need to know prior so you dont want something that spools quick but then end up with something that you dont see positive boost until almost 5500RPMS

Im wanted to do a set-up that is VERY responcive and has big fat mid-range
power, V-8 like performance.

my thoughts are the the turbo selection will be only half of the deal, the remainder will be in weight loss, both off the car and reciprocating weight.

IE carbon fiber drive shafts and light wheels.

The "Ford Stile" 5 bold T-3 Exhaust housing for the GT-28 line of turbos can only be had in the .63 a/r. But if you wanted it in a .48 a/r I think I could easly make a 02 housing for a T31 stile Exhaust housing that I thick comes in a .48 for these turbos. All of the placement is the same between the 5 bolt and the T31 Exhaust housings is the same other then the flange so it should realy be no big deal.

Soulds like a .48 DR-800 is what you are looking for then. The 2871's are much laggyer
