Default oil pan

Will the 93 TT oil pan work on a 91 TT? What is the difference?

Won't fit, there is a difference in the oil pump.

Well, except the timing mark is in a different location on the 91/92 oil pump vs the 93 - it's on tooth different.

Im pretty sure the 93+ TT blocks (4 bolt) are wider than 91-92 TT blocks and all NA blocks (2 bolt).

I have a similar question. I believe my oil pump is going out. I already have a new 93 oil pump waiting to go in. Problem is that my car is a 92, and I already know my oil pan won't fit the 93 pump so would getting a 93 oil pan let everything mate up without modification?

If your 92 is a 4 bolt it will work. If its a 2 bolt you need a 92 oil pump.

I have a 2 bolt block. So will a 4 bolt oil pump still bolt up to the 2 bolt block? I'm asking because I had the 93 pump bolted to my engine before I dropped it in, and the only reason I took it back off is because my oil pan wouldn't fit the new 93 pump. Just wondering if I have a 4 bolt oil pump or not...the "U" shaped part that mates with the pan was wider than my old oil pump so I had to re-use my old pump.
