Send me an email with your zip code, name, and what bought and we'll research it. Send it to:
info@3sx.com

Our rates should be competitive. As a matter of fact we were able to decrease rates another 10% about 2 weeks ago.

Thanks,
Steve

I haven't ordered from you in a while, I run a business and getting boxes for free yes very possible. Actually most shipping companies will give you the boxes to get you to use their services. Yes packing cost do add up very quickly, never realized how expensive packing tape was till I started my business about 5 years ago I would guess I have spent over $500 on packing tape however lately I have been buying in bulk. Yes the people that have to do the packing are not cheap, actually those kinda jobs usually pay quite well since no one wants to do them so they must keep rates competitive otherwise workers could be hard to come by. I think 3sx is a great company and I only order during free shipping times, because when I ordered my chrome oil cap cost me $15 to ship. As someone who lives at the post office and buys my UPS man Christmas presents because he is either giving me a package or taking one away everyday. I know that there are flat rate boxes with every company big enough to ship the oil cap easily for around $5. Either way I think its good that you guys have been able to get prices down, and I am still a very satisfied customer don't get me wrong.

I am all for 3SX, they always have what i need. But i understand what the OP is saying.
You only buy a 3" exhaust gasket for $8 or a few $3 fuel injector o-rings and pay $16 to have it shipped UPS. You would think something like that could be tossed in an envolope, even if they still charge half the normal shipping price. I guess that the price we pay for 3SX having parts on stock instead of waiting for the dealerships.

The problem with "tossing it in an envelope" is it is then not trackable or insurable. Then we would get complaints that a customer's package isn't trackable and or got lost with no recourse.

Thats completely understandable Chris.
Are the small padded envelopes insurable or trackable thru USPS? i would think they are still a cheaper route. but what do i know, im just a carpenter. lol
