Default 3SX, how do you calculate shipping?

Just wondering. I just paid $15 to ship small <1 lb box from NC to PA by UPS ground. I checked with my shipping department out of curiosity and they gave me a quote of $5 to ship the same package back. I love buying stuff from you guys, but I wish your shipping prices were closer to reality.

Thanks,
Sergey

I guess the shipping charge is considered "shipping + handling". That's what most of the shops do now adays.

Does your shipping department use UPS and are they insuring it?

I’ve noticed that 3SX just likes to just throw on a $10 to $20 “handling” fee. At least they put a little bottle of lube and a 3SX pen in with the shipping invoice bag that says “thanks” written on it.

Sooo, you guys think all the boxes they use are free? think the employee handling the shipping works for free? Try going to the UPS store and just dropping off your item and let them package it for you and charge you for the packing materials and see how cheap it really is. Odds are it isnt any less than what 3sx is charging.

Wrong, UPS doesnt charge close to what 3sx charges. I ordered gaskets, thats it and the shipping is over $27. for 1 little gasket that can fit inside an envelope.
