Talking She runs! (good this time!)

Well so I guess it boiled down to a bad tps I replaced it and it runs awesome great response etc etc...im not sure whether to be mad or happy it was something so simple. Anyways though JB is holding up so far on the fuel pump thing but Im having a small oil leak off the turbo oil drain/oil pan connection which isnt a big deal to fix. Thanks again to ernest and coop who helped with the whole cam thing.

Im looking forward to seeing you guys at the meet

Im not really sure what I should run boost wise..I have 13g's and a supra fuel pump. I figure around 15 or so until I can get bigger injectors/ a working datalogger.Without a logger what would you figure would be safe? no one I have ever pm'd with questions regarding 13g's or anything has ever replied.

Also I finally ditched the shitty MBC and knockoff greddy type rs blow off valve I was using in favor of a PIT electronic boost/nitrous controller and a real turbo xs RFL.

lol good advice

I dunno its actually more of a computer/program problem as opposed to the actual datalogger. MMCD refuses to go on. It says they are incompatible files. As far as I know no file converting or anything is required right?

Coop what kind of setup fuel wise did you have when you had 13g's?

oh god...I fear I may have bent a valve.I was gently rolling along and stop at a light. As I begin to accelerate from the light the car just dies flat out and I smell rubber. I push it to the side of the road, check fuses battery etc etc. From a stroke of luck justin passes by and helps me out. As we try to crank it a loud ping comes from the valve cover (it sounded like it anyway). The car refuses to start it has fire/fuel/ and air I guess. The T-belt still feels tight but it may be loose at the bottom.I imagine the tensioner may have went out...maybe

In any case though im 99% sure the car is getting sold to one of my good friends/3s owners and im buying a first gen tsi later this week.I still look forward to driving the talon or riding to the meet in any case.

ps: If it was the tensioner then I have only myself to blame for not changing it.Oh well
