Hopefully you get that beast running man. We should hold the next meet in Tulsa or closer to this area. That was quite a drive last night, bleh. It was good to meet everyone though.

Sounds like a plan man. I'd feel more comfortable running here. If something on my car went bad, i'd be in a better position than if I were at Thunder Valley.

we've always alternated between OKC and Tulsa. OKC guys tend to get together more without it being a track day, however. the Tulsa guys should do that more.

you did do a hefty upgrade to your car, jrod, i wouldn't be too upset. i have had similar things(well actually, the exact thing twice) happen there. you'll work it out. any new setup requires tweaking and the track is great to tune at, but sucks for diagnosing a lot of things.

Yeah the whole track thing, I can take it or leave it. I just like taking a cruse, hanging out, eating, hanging out, crusing, eating,
yeah stuff like that.

haha the last two were track meets, they don't ALL have to be track meets and honestly, i only expect people interested in track meets to show up at those. i mostly go to the track by myself, people rarely show up if they are not running.

the big meets are always nice cruises and activities for everyone to do together. i prefer a spirited drive to the track any day of the week. in fact, any OKC people should check out ok-speed.com for the "Road Course" section, because they have a kick-ass meet they do every month at the sheriff's training ground. i've been doing events there with the Porsche and BMW clubs for the last 2 years

A road-course sounds far more interesting to me then a drag strip.

Same but I need new brakes =\. Can't really afford tearing up tires either. School is burning a hole in my wallet.
