You need to clarify that the "big round thing on the passenger side" ONLY applies to early first gens

dunno if I should post it here but some more general information.

A bad CAS might cause the car to stall out during regular driving giving no warning.
A bad CAS might cause the car to run like it is missing and/or seem like it is on 5 cylin ders.
a bad CAS should throw Check engine light #22.
A new CAS will run near $350.
I believe that leaking capacitors ruined my CAS.

Mitsu raised their prices, I checked with Libertyville Mitsu this afternoon, and the early first gen CAS is up over $400.... while the late first gen / second gen CAS is just over $60...

Sure my sensor (4 bold main engine) costs about 1/7th what the 2-bolt main engine's costs, but at least you get to have an adjustable sensor.

Thanks Alan, but as a matter of etiquete, do you think it better to have discussions here in this forum, than to have people arbitrarily changing other peoples input?

This way, people can hash out what gets put in the wiki, and it avoids hard feelings about people having their input blasted away by someone who may or may not know more about a subject.

Thoughts?

if we were talking about a post like Brett Brinkmans AWD document then yes I think their needs to be discussion. But, if were talking about a factual correction/addition(like the kind in this thread) its not really necssary. I watch for changes and if their is an issue I can always roll the change back to the last version.
