Tomorrow I am going to go through the process of swapping out my bad drivers side window regulator with a used one that is in working condition. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to go about doing this type of thing. It'll be a new job for me!

Okay... quick question. I got it installed and it works and everything... however I have an auto down switch, and it doesn't go down all the way if I tap it once, like it should. Also, there is a spot where the window kinda gets off track and then jumps back on track... any ideas?

Chances are your switch is worn out at the contact points. You may be able to get it to work properly by pulling it apart and cleaning it with electronic parts cleaner, but chances are you'll need to find a working switch. As for the looseness in the window, you should be able to tighten up one of the 'feeler' guides (they press against either the front or rear of the window) to tighten it more on the tracks.
