Default Replacing Interior bulbs

Alright I was thinking about pulling the gauge cluster and simply covering the bulbs with these RED gel light covers. I have already done it for my ash tray, Glove box and Cig lighter. They look really good a bit dimmer but not by much at ALL. SO I was wondering what size the bulbs were in the gauge cluster. As the smallest covers I can find are for a 194BULB. Also does anyone have any thoughts on how it will look. I have all stock gauges but think a red tint would look good. I just dont want the lights to be really dim. Also does anyone know how to change the light for the ring by the inigtion Lock cylinder?

I need to replace burnt-out bulbs in both my glove box and my ash tray. What size bulbs did you use for those?

just so you know the bulbs are clear (no caps) and the amber color is on the gauge face itself. Not sure how the red would look going through amber. Interested in pics if you do install some.

The bulb in the glove box is a 194. The cig and ash tray bulbs are really small not sure what size off hand but will find out for you.

it's in the owners manual, key illumination light, ashtray light, cig light, and heater light are all SAE 74. It also says the glove compartment light is 158.

aapstealth, got some pics? And how'd you do the cig lighter? the light bulb is clear but there's a semi-clear orange thing around the lighter that the light shines through.
