Default Quieter/Smoother window motors?

Power windows on the 3000GT are loud and very rough - is there any way to switch them with smoother, quieter ones from newer cars?

umm...they are not supposed to be "loud or rough." Try getting a new motor...

my old stealth did that squealing too. a few weeks later the motor died.

the whole assembly is called a regulator. on the track, there is a plastic piece that, from what i understand, is prone to break.

maybe lube that too see what happens.

keep us posted
