Default Paint on Panels?

There are paint stains on my door panel and various other places inside my car (all of it on the inner wall/panel).

I haven't a clue on why the previous owner did this, but I want it gone. What can I use to clean it up, if at all possible?

I don't want to replace anything, but I do have a black center console and inner door panels. I have idea how that would look with my stock charcoal grey interior.

Steam will get them all off.. any of those generic stemears they sell on TV or at walmart. Use caution on your door panels etc, because getting them too hot will cause the glue to loosen and then (assuming you're not already) you'll be plagued with 3S door skin disease.

You can also try a simple cleaner like Fantastic or 409 or windex or soemthing, just don't let them soak too long. Also, after you get it off, be sure to treat the panel with a quality interior protectant, as it will be dry, and crack if not taken care of.

A good carpet cleaner is "quik out" (liquid in a black bottle, not can) by meguiars and bissel. I've seen it do amazing things. I've got a few other tricks, so if none of the above work for whatever reason, PM me. We'll get it off

Thanks, I'll have to try this when I get home. What's a good protectant?

The best I've ever used is called "Meguiars Professional Series Vinyl Rubber Protectant"

They're NXT Gen Tech Protect is pretty good, as well as "Meguairs SHINE Natural"

The pro series stuff can be kind of hard to get ahold of, but a lot of time O'rielly's carries it. Smells good, looks good, pretects well.

Anything is better than nothing, so if all you have is armor all (shame on you) use it, but get something better

I tried Fantastic and Windex - no result.

I don't have a steamer on hand either. Anything else I can use?

Just for clarification: Imagine dipping a paintbrush into white wall paint and flicking inside the car. There are specks of paint everywhere and it's driving me nuts.

Bump. Any other ideas besides a steamer? That sounds like it'll destroy the glue...

There has to be some sort of chemical that'll get this paint off.
