I played around with painting the interior panels a while back. Krylon Fusion is, hands down, the best I've seen so far for the job. It looks great and, more importantly, its durable.

I recently used some Krylon semi black on my badly oxidized ash tray lid, it turned out well, nice OEM dull black. However if you don't mind spending some money and want to do something different that site you linked carid.com has a lot of options, carbon fiber, brushed aluminum, etc.

All mine are painted true black. Use 3M stuff, it will stay on better then cheap autozone stuff. Take your time and prep everything perfectly.
