Default Floor mat hooks

I think the later year 3s's had a hook to hold the floor mats in place. Can the hook be ordered from mitsubishi and retrofit into an older car that doesn't have one?

I'm curious if the hooks are welded in or bolted in.

Thanks!

LoL at 3si having floor mats.
Seriously though, why not just use Velcro?

Sorry, corrected, I meant 3s. I could use velcro, but the mats I bought have a hole for the hook.

The hook is neither welded or bolted, it is part of the carpet and placed on the carpet in a similar manner as a button on a shirt; the hook it self may not be available as a part number.
This may be different on early models but on my 99 that's how it is.
