Thanks for the comments everyone. I couldn't be happier with the setup; I use it everyday.
The MB is an ASRock 775i65G with OCZ 1GB PC3200 Premier Series Dual Channel memory. From a cold start, it will boot up and start Road Runner with DFX3.0 frontend in approximately 18 seconds. I used nLite to trim XP Pro way down. The power supply is an Opus 320 which I cannot praise enough. It is larger than other PS's but very, very stable and reliable.
I have the MB mounted on a large, plastic, kitchen cutting board with tabs on the end to secure it in place but not tightened. Just a little loose so if I hit a good bump, it can flex on the styrofoam underneath it. The MB is grounded to cut down on the alternator whine.
As far as software, I use RoadRunner which is great. You can read about it
here. If you want to download it, go to FAQ section. The frontend I use is DFX 3.0. I tried 4.0 when it first came out and had problems. 3.0 is very stable for me.

I use iGuidance for GPS and it integrates fantastic. I have it set so when iGuidance 'kicks on' to tell directions, the music or video volume is lowered 80% and the screen automatically goes to iGuidance and then bounces back after the turn is made. Very, very nice.
