Good plan. My interior was black with the tan pillars and headliner......ugly as **** imo. so i redid the pillars in white and just dyed my headliner black. it turned out good. now my whole interior is black and white

I need to do a fiberglass headliner tho to accept my screens. I think i will probably wrap it in black vinyl to match the interior after

and no not the final product, the pictures just show the headliner with a stretchy material over it covered in resin. the fiberglass goes on top of that, and i've been doing that over the past 2 days, just about done. although when i got home from school today i saw that the fiberglass i had lied down is now warped, fml
did you remove the fabric that was on there from the factory before covering it in stretchy material and laying down resin?

once you pull the fabric off the headliner, is it possible to just pull whatever the headliner is and paint it as is?

well im getting my car painted and my friend is doing it for real cheap...figured I would ask. So there is nothing under the cloth? its just a plastic surface under there?

WHen you say it would look bad, is that an opinion or is it because there is something on it that would make it look bad

I believe its more of a cardboard texture, which wouldn't look good IMO whether it's painted or not.
