i know that on my '92 the button had got stuck in on the drivers side, and i had the same issue, although the passenger side worked.

I just unstuck the button... if your lights don't work with both doors and manually pushing the button, then i cant help you.

I dont know about your other problems

Hey guys, don't know if you solved your light problem or not, but I had the same issue's. When I opened either door dome light would not come on, the red door panel light came on but thats it. Also after locking door with the window down and reaching inside to open door, the alarm wouldn't sound. It turns out that the little white button (underneath the rubber thing on the door jam) wasn't popping all the way out. When I was spraying a bit of WD40 in there I also noticed some wires with an inline fuse that I think might be getting caught in the mechanism too. I just pushed those wires back with a long screwdriver. I'll fix it properly when I program my remotes. If they ever come.
