Not to be too negative, but "cheap" seats probably aren't the best idea. Cheap body panels, or cheap rims, fine, but seats are part of the safety system in the car. If you are rear ended in the "cheap" seats, and the back fails, it could/would cause serious injury. You wouldn't buy the cheapest harnesses and remove the factory seatbelts just because the harness looks cool, I wouldn't do it with seats either. There are reasons certain seats cost more, they are built much better and have had the necesarry testing done to make sure they are safe.

Hey I bought the exact bomz seats from eBay and just received them today. Im just a kid so i didnt want anything extremly expensive. So far i do believe that they are pretty good and sturdy. If you want seats just for the seat to have just for the style, comfort, and for a point harness I think there excellent. Not to mention much lighter than stock. I say get them, and its not hard to fab. some brackets if you have a basic welding knowledge.

You can get old dirty MOMO's cheap, I got an old set of MOMO Corse's for 250 shipped, just need alot of cleaning. Further, make your own bracket out of your old brackets. If height is a concern, make some side mounts, and move the seat down near the floor....Just my thought
