When the car breaks up under load it sounds like one of the plug wires is arking so the the plug spark is to weak, its called blow out, you might need new wires, check the gap on your plugs. not sure of your modds but 26-29 works good. I hope this will help narrow down the problem!

Mine would rev really low sometimes then it would die. I found it was my MAF. Once i switched it out with a donor cars it ran perfect. It would also cut out at midrange rev up normal then cut off again at the high rpms with the bad one.

Unplug the MAS and see if the hesitation is there, the idle will suck but above it should be ehh ok.
Used MAS from the Junkyard will cost $40 w/ no core charge. Also do the Autozone diag. test. and let us know. |
