I replaced my coil pack thinking that could of been the problem but it still runs like sh!t. I posted a video. The video (although u cant really see) is me starting it in my drive way, backing out, driving a few houses down, turning around, park back at my house then it idles until it dies, i rev it a few times to make sure you can tell it how bad it sounds.
ps you can hear a belt squeeking like a mofo, another thing i gotta fix that pisses me off. <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i30.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid30.photobucket.com/albums/c340/freestyle786/WTF.flv"> Last edited by FreeStyle786 : 09-30-2008 at 05:09 PM. |

Was the car up to full temp for this video? Without any more info, I would say that your BISS screw is cranked all the way in, and the ISC can't open any more.

Yeah the IAC was the next thing on my list to buy if I couldnt get it working other wise. I was hoping someone had the same problem and could tell me. Its weird because when you drive as the RPMs get higher it goes out of wack and i just shift to avoid making it worse.

normally, no.... try resetting the ECU to see if it gets better... it may have somehow picked up a code, and become set to "limp home" mode... TO reset the ECU, disconnect the battery, and let it sit for about 30sec to a minute before you reconnect the battery.
Did you recently get gas? Could it be bad gas? |

Also things like AC, PS, etc.. put a load on the engine. It will affect idle if those sensors are bad, it can't increase idle for the load. Check your sensors to make sure they are all plugged in. Then it might be time for new plugs and wires. |

Plugs and wires are not old at all so I doubt its them unless my car is fouling them up and I just don't know it. I don't think its bad gas either for sure. Im honestly lost, will have to check the ECU.
My main question is what are some things that would cause that kind of hesitation when im driving. It seems like if u were to shift at 2kRPM all the time you wouldent notice it but as soon as you go put a load on the car the rpms skip and do odd things. |
