Well, if you can find it cheaper, good ... but I would recommend only the Greddy Type-S or Type-RS, recirculated.

Type RS is awesome, I need to pick one up to replace the RFL that the previous owner put on my car.

I just installed my HKS SSQ2 bov today. Its running open atmosphere, not really noticing any bogging from the engine. But from what I understand usually OBD1 3s have an easier time adapting to it than the OBD2. I might get flamed for that, but thats just my experience.

Hello, I'm new here but I have a little exp. with the recirc bov. I have a Greddy type S recirc and at idle (REVING) you can here it but not that loud. But on the road, it turns heads BUT shifting at 2.5 to 4 rpms. Any higher than that, your not getting that noise. The top brand is the hks ssqv which I just ordered. I'm praying I can make it an open atmosphere and have the same performance. From what can see from 3si, different cars react different. I hope the people with the problems plug up the recirc. opening to the pipe to the turbos. I never had any problems with the recirc. They are great. I will update you asap with the ssqv. Running rich is not good because your buring to much fuel and abusing the engine slightly. Now running lean, your risking your self stalling from the lack of power. That's were stochiometerics kick in making perfect air/fuel ratios. See carburators were hand adjustable, but with injectors its all computerized. If you don't mind, tell me what you did and how it went, thanks.

I just took off a greddy type RS on my DD and put a stock one on as I need new struts and the money from selling the Type RS will fund new struts lol.

I wish I didn't have to though because the Type RS Greddy is the best sounding BOV I've heard! I also have the Type S Greddy on my other car and that one sounds good too!

If you want one that wooshes... get the type RS, if you want one that has a whistle, get the Type S or a HKS (watch out for compressor surge on the HKS, my buddy had compressor surge and from what he told me you cant adjust an HKS like you can a Greddy)
